I can’t say enough about this knife. It’s the second time I’ve attempted something similar, and I had forgotten how challenging it was. Everything, from shaping the tapered handle and calculating the right proportions to achieve both visual harmony and perfect balance, was a real test of precision. The addition of jewelry brass accents on the blade, handle, and saya added a small yet demanding layer of complexity. Despite its ultra-thin, lightweight Laser S-grind blade and Damasteel/ebony handle, the knife weighs only 235 g, with an ideal 45/55 balance.
